You can sort the files in the Windows File Explorer - choose all the files by click+drag. Then, by clicking again on the first file, drag the selection into the program:
The files will be added in the same order as in the initial folder.
Note that you may need to drag by the first file - the sorting will start depending on which file you are using to drag photos in the program.
