If the app Movavi – Video Editor crashes, freezes, doesn’t export, or responds slowly, the issue is usually caused by:

  • an outdated app version

  • an outdated iOS version

  • corrupted app data

In most cases, updating or reinstalling the app resolves the issue.


Start Here

1. Update the App

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Search for Movavi – Video Editor.

  3. Tap Update if available.



Using the latest version fixes most stability issues.


2. Reinstall the App

If updating does not help, reinstall the app.

⚠️ Reinstalling the app deletes all projects stored inside it.

Projects that were not exported or saved outside the app cannot be restored after removal.

To reinstall:

  1. Delete Movavi – Video Editor from your device.

  2. Open the App Store.

  3. Install the app again.


3. Check Your iOS Version

Make sure your device is running the latest available version of iOS:

Settings → General → Software Update

Outdated system versions may cause performance or stability issues.
