My original video has 5.1 sound, but my output is Stereo. How can I convert while keeping the original sound channels? : Movavi Support

For most audio codecs, only 1 or 2 channels are supported (Mono or Stereo).

In order to use more channels, you should select one of the audio codecs which support that manually:

- ALAC (MOV or MKV formats),

- FLAC (OGV format),

- Vorbis (OGV, WebM or MKV formats),

- PCM (AVI format).

That can be done by clicking Settings button after selecting the format, going to Audio tab and first selecting needed audio codec, then selecting desired number of channels:
